Ocho is a car insurance startup with the mission to revolutionize the industry.

Problem: My goal at Ocho is to improve and automate the process for the operational team, along with the entire core management of the policies.

Solution: Development of a platform for policy agents, detecting the different states and actionable items in the process of creation, modification, and termination of policies. Development and maintenance of two core internal platforms: OBO (Ocho Back Office) and OBO Browser Extension. Conducted user interviews and sessions to automate workflows and deliver a clean, well-designed experience for operational teams. Engineered the OBO-BE (browser extension) middleware to synchronize data between carrier platforms and internal systems, enhancing operational efficiency.

Frida is a tech startup that explores issues around reliable produce sourcing.

Problem: My objective at Frida was to explore the issues of the agricultural sector and find possible solutions with technology.

Solution: Collaborated with end-users to identify pain points and architected custom tools to streamline workflows. Partnered with design teams to launch Intelligence (market forecasting React app) and Marketplace. Developed the Growers App, a cross-platform mobile solution using React Native.

Gurú de Viaje is a tech travel agency.

Problem: My goal at Gurú de Viaje was to lead the transition from a traditional travel agency to a modern and pioneering technology startup in the travel industry.

Solution: Built the core mobile application using React Native and managed the main web platform using microservices architecture. Implemented GraphQL for data fetching and managed custom push notification strategies. Developed flight search algorithms with Travel Guru.

Developed marketing landing page builders and AI-integrated chatbots for clients like Scotiabank and Albo. Created shared web components and internal libraries to accelerate development cycles.
